Principles
1. We Believe In Maximum Liberty For All
The rights and liberties of all individuals are paramount
These rights and liberties are for all regardless of gender, race, religion, or age
2. We Believe In Limited Government
Government exists to secure the rights and liberties of individuals
Power flows from the governed
3. We Believe In Local Government
Local governments are best suited to handle the unique situations of a specific geography or demographic
Federal and State governments should be limited to specific functions and should support, not counter the will of the people as represented by their local officials
4. We Accept And Promote Social Responsibility
As part of a society, we are bound to care for those around us who cannot do for themselves
These obligations are discharged through family and community ties
5. We Emphasise Education And Information
While passion is necessary to accomplishing change, emotion is a poor substitute for good judgement
6. We Understand We Are One Voice Amongst Several
We will seek to have our voice heard and to make our point of view known
We will not seek to be the only voice
We will respect those who hold different points of view
7. We Give Consideration And Regard For All Issues Of Significance
We will seek to avoid becoming to focused on one particular issue.
We will make use of all resources to educate our members on all issues of import
8. We Believe It Is Healthy To Engage In Self-Examination
We understand that the application of conservative principles is not always straightforward
We believe that respectful debate is helpful in developing solid perspectives that incorporate conservative principles
9. We Know The Task Is Never Complete
Because people and circumstances change, what worked yesterday may not work today
We must be continually vigilant in our roles as voters and in our roles as members of the community
